    Your Role

    • Acts as a Personal CFO for existing clients and new clients; leads the client relationship, delivers an exceptional experience, and designs, implements and manages the wealth management plan that supports their passions and purpose - their “Life Plan”.
    • Leverages internal and external resources to achieve client objectives in such areas as Investment Management, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Risk Management, and General Planning.
    • Communicates our unique value proposition to prospective clients and works to establish Brighton Jones as their trusted financial advisor.
    • Develop and expand relationships with centers of influence, such as attorneys and CPAs, resulting in additional business opportunities
    • Cultivates and develops deep relationships with custodial retail branches in collaboration with the national team.
    • Creates opportunities and represents Brighton Jones at public speaking events including community events, industry events, etc..
    • Leads a local service team with deep collaboration to ensure client retention and satisfaction is high with a relentless focus on remarkable service.
    • Support Business Development team in new client acquisition through participation in the sales process and generates referrals from existing clients.
    • Support Brighton Jones’ mission by using objectivity, creativity and passion to help our clients, colleagues and community members “live richer lives”.
    • Provide teammates with timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; develop employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance career growth.

    Your Experience

    • Your Experience:
    • Candidates must have a four-year degree and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation.
    • 6+ years in financial and/or estate planning related work, preferably at a professional financial services company or wealth management firm.
    • Expertise in estate, tax, retirement, insurance, investment, and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis.

    YOUR ROLE:

    • Acts as the first point of contact on client communications; strategizes with Lead Advisor to ensure responses are timely and thorough
    • Reviews current client portfolios and makes recommendations to clients in consultation with team; proactively considers both strategic and tactical opportunities around investments and other planning areas 
    • Prepares comprehensive client meeting deliverables including Cash Needs Analysis, Strategic Asset Allocation, and Vocational Freedom Analysis; analyzes all client data and evaluates potential planning strategies
    • Provides spreadsheet analysis on an ad-hoc basis for more advanced financial topics such as tax loss harvesting, stock option and restricted stock wealth transfer strategies and risk transfer/management; maintains all record-keeping related to these activities, including cost basis and other position data via portfolio management software
    • Responsible for reviewing, approving, and strategizing around trades and portfolio rebalances
    • Attends and drives client meetings; owns the execution of post-meeting actions, in conjunction with Analysts 
    • Leverages internal and external resources to achieve client objectives in such areas as Investment Management, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Risk Management and General Planning; Works with Tax, Investments and Estate Planning to determine additional levels of detail required for the client's situation

    YOUR EXPERIENCE:

    • 4 + years of experience in financial planning, wealth management or a related industry preferred

    Build and manage investment strategies.

    Customer-focused, with a desire and ability to communicate frequently with clients regarding their accounts and investment performances.

    Qualifications:

    Undergraduate degree in finance preferred, or business or economics.

    Client Service Associate Scottsdale Quarter HQ (north Scottsdale) needed for high paced, rapidly growing investment management firm

    Description:

    The Client Service Associate (CSA) role is a support position providing dedicated operational support to multiple Financial Advisors (FAs) across multiple states. This includes involvement in day-to-day office initiatives in addition to the businesses of the particular FAs. For established clients, the CSA will often serve as the most frequent point of contact.

    This position will combine associate advisor and paraplanner responsibilities with a career path of an advisor. This position will support the firm’s lead advisors in serving current client needs on a day-to-day basis. In addition, the position will play a critical role with new and prospective clients using our discovery process to quantify the value we can offer above and beyond their current situation.
